Hi, I’m Jaimie! I learned to sew as a kid, and I love all things sewing, crafting, and creating. My mom says, “she’s always making something,” and it’s true. I lived in Japan for 10 years and opened a very small Etsy shop selling zippered pouches using fun Japanese fabrics. Now I am back living near my childhood home, and am inspired by my own children to make practical, play-friendly clothing.

I started Tangen Textiles in March 2022. I strive to use sustainably produced fabric (American milled organics, Euro-knit, etc.) as well as upcycle older textiles to create items meant to be worn and loved. I am always trying new ideas and love to make customer ideas come to life, too. I’m glad you are here! ☆
